Hi again Alan: You can choose any file to listen, all of them was recording today without using my VOX AC15 Heritage + Rode NTK Mic(instead I used Bose GX-700 plus my usual recording gear: Guitar > SD Twin Classic Tube Pre > Yamaha MS > Tube Compressor > MXR 10 EQ. Graham: Yes I call it a test as I do not play so accurately, but try to get a good sound... Thanks Yechiel

Hello Yechiel
I did listen to some of the tracks but, to be absolutely honest, much preferred the previous recordings you did. I thought these tracks sounded a bit thin, lacking body.
Just my opinion,others may disagree.

Hi Alan Thanks I agree with you my previous recordings sounds better as they was recorded with a real amp that was miced with a very good mic. It was only a test to check my old Boss GX-700 how it works today... I still prefer to record with all real live equipments and with minimum digitals.(only the Yamaha MS is digital) I hope with Charlie's new Echo it will sound even better. Thanks again Yechiel

Hi Yechiel, The sound is thinner, as others have said. It might be possible to get close to the amp and mic sound by using EQ, but finding the secret setting (if there is a single setting) might not be easy. Regards, Charlie
