Hi Ron, hope you're well, :-) I have just been looking at some posts and really need to read them again, now when we've read 'em the "new" thingy goes away. And I wondered, would it be possible to be able to put a "not read" icon or something at the side of it? As usual, not a gripe, just a thought :-) amazin isn't it, we had cr***y old Msn and accepted what was there, we get something better and "were human" we want more , but I put that down the the ( [glow=red,2,300]creep creep[/glow] ) hard work done by you lot the admin guys and gals.
Cheers
Brian

Sorry Brian, maybe it's me, or the time of morning, but if you have already read a post, why do you need to mark it as "not read". If you want to refer to it again, then as I say just bookmark it, then you will know that that particular post is one you are interested in.

Kevin : No, What happened was this , I was trawlin' thro' the posts and 'er indoors was watchin' Tv, one of the posts was a sound file, ands me not wantin' to start WW3 moved on to other posts without hearing the file, my memory being what it is/isn't I wondered of there was a method for me to "mark" the post as "new" so I would not miss it. You said to bookmark it, ok so when I bookmark it how do I see it standing out from all the other posts, I hope this is clear to you only i'm not the greatest at explaining things, thanks Kevin cheers Brian

Hi Brian, When you bookmark a thread it appears in a separate list that you get to by clicking on 'profile' in the top menu of the board, then click on 'bookmarks' .

Oh thanks you Bill and Ron of course, I did look in the help files but could find no reference to this matter.
