Thanks for the reply. Only reason I asked is because I had a play of a guitar at a club and he said the strap was the same as hank used and it was just really comfortable.

Hi! Fender don't make these straps longer. But you can get one here, rather expensive: www.the well known auction site.com/itm/NEW-FENDER-BLACK-DELUXE-WIDE-GUITAR-BASS-STRAP-NICE-PADDED-LEATHER-3-25-WIDE-/360412469564?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item53ea41d93c I have one of these straps on my Hank Marvin Strat, and it is the best strap money can buy. Last summer I did a Warmoth build, A real beauty in fiesta red and birdseye maple neck, all hardwear in gold, Sperzel tuning machines, Easymute tremolosystem, gold frets and Kinman pups. ;D .But this was never going to be a real Fender, so I named it after mysellf and my dog, Arnulf's sancocaster. My beauty had to have a strap, and I ordered a customstrap from Nashville with my name on. It is about 2,5" wide. Softpadded, and very comfortable. The strap can be ordered from here: www.the well known auction site.com/itm/CUSTOM-TOOLED-LEATHER-GUITAR-STRAP-YOUR-NAME-/260346354805?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item3c9dda1c75

Hi Arnulf,
you did a lot in improving a normal industrial produced Stratocaster. I would not agree with you, that this never will be a "real" Fender Strat. (or are you addicted to marketings sirene songs only) Where do you think do they get birdseye maple necks, special pups.of best quality, its not all developed on their own. etc..? In the best case you could call your strat also a "custom shop" variant of a normal strat. (Do`nt forget in the old Leo Fender times you could call fender a backyard factory!!) So all the best to your Arnulfs sancocaster... enjoy. Shadow Karl

Hi Karl! Thank you for your answer. I call my guitar "custom made". And choose to use my own name instead of Fender. I find that to be as wished of Warmoth. And also I fell like paying some respect to Leo Fender and his development of the Fender guitars. But I sure have made myself a great guitar. Excellent to play and a beauty to look at. I have Fender decals that I could have used, but instead I made my own decals, and also put my own signature at the headstock. I really had great fun in making this guitar and personalize it a much as I could. Now I have ordered a special gig-bag with embroidery of my logo on. A little bit crazy, but enjoying being crazy.. ;D On the photo i Have not changed to Kinman pups, it is here fitted with fender vintage nioseless pups Attachments:
