hi new member here hoping i can pick someones brains i have a zoom g7 with charlies patches and a vox pathfinder 15 when playing through my amp i don`t use the g7 amp sim or eq i can get a great tone from my amp and charlies echoes for the shads early stuff my problem is that when i play cavatina and the more modern hank stuff i can`t get the right tone without totally changing all the amp settings i have tried using the zoom eq and the amp sim and eq together but it sounds muddy i was wondering if i used a external eq pedal would this help that way i could just use the pedal for the hank later stuff like i say i can get the later sound but have to re set all the amp settings and this can be a pain if i am playing a mixture of shads and hank stuff i use the pathfinder for gigging it sounds great miked up so i don`t want to change the amp thanks strato

Hi Strato, Welcome to the site. You might find a graphic or parametric pedal that can boost the lows at around 100Hz to be useful, as more bass is essentially the main feature of Hank's later sounds. Regards, Charlie
