Hello everyone and belated Happy New Year to all! I've just bought a used Deluxe Player Strat (MIM) on Fleabay and am well pleased with my purchase. However it was supplied minus its gold finished screw in tremolo arm and I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Can anyone enlighten me on the correct thread size --I know that US/Jap/Mex etc guitars are not necessarily the same. Any help would be appreciated. Regards David

Hi David
From memory (and having checked elsewhere on Google) I believe all US Strats have 10-32 UNF thread, all MIM and MIJ Strats have M5x0.8 (metric) thread. Most Squiers are M6x1.0 (metric) but some (described as "smaller thread) are M5x0.8.
Cheers Keith
edit: PS you can get different lengths of arm too, depending on your preference, 110mm, 130mm, 155mm. I think the original vintage arm is the 155mm, but I get on better with the 110mm
