Hi members.I am wondering if any TVS3 owners could enlighten me on issues regarding this unit. I am wondering about quality of components. Also about reliability, and service if needed. This unit if i purchase it will be used for gigging and home use rather than just dusting and polishing it every few hours. Best wishes. Rick.

Are you lottery winner..... ;D
I don't own one of these units but from acquired reading/hearing, I don't think component quality will be an issue.
Given some extremely disposable income I would like one.
I am sure Phil can give you a users opinion..
Mike.

Hi Rick,
It possibly isn't fair to discus another product on Charlie's site that is competitive with his own product.
To answer your questions; I have had one for about three years. It is made with top quality components, has been very reliable and the only servicing would be to replace the tube. Which I have never had to do.
I see you live in Bucks, (possibly not far from me) you would be welcome to come and try mine if you wish.

Hi Rick
I agree with what Baz has said.
I've had mine for two years without any issues at all except for a very minor one which cropped up the other day. Due to me regularly unplugging and plugging in the guitar lead, the nut securing the input jackplug to the front panel had, unseen by me, gradually worked loose and eventually dropped off (which could have happened to any unit) and the plug disappeared inside. It wasn't a problem to refix it from the inside which meant taking off the top panel (easily done). This was the first time I'd had the top panel off and seen the innards of the beast and, although I know very little about electronics, I was impressed by how neat and tidy the wiring and components looked.
I've been very happy with mine and I'm sure you would be, too. Baz has made you a very kind offer and, if you're serious about buying one, I recommend you take it up as there's nothing like testing and hearing the TVS3 for yourself.
Cheers.
Tony

Hi Ric,,
Component content and design is unparalleled. A neat and tidy installation. I feel very happy with my TVS3 and as stated before it is very reliable.

Hi Rick, I also agree with what bazz said. A very reliable unit that is made to last a lifetime, I've had my TVS 3 for nearly 12 months without any problems whatsoever. Everytime I switch it on and hear the sound that it produces i'm glad that I spent the dollars
Best regards Matthew
