HI FRIENDS A BIT OF A NEWBY SO HOPE THIS QUESTION ISENT A SILLY ONE. AT PRESANT I AM USING DADDARIOEXL 115W 11 49 STRINGS THE GUITAR HAS BEEN SET UP FOR THEM. FATHER CHRISTMAS FETCHET ME A FEW SETS OF ELIXIR NANOWEB ANTI RUST 11 49 STRINGS IF I FIT THEM WILL I HAVE TO HAVE MY GUITAR SET UP AGAIN TO SUIT THOSE STRINGS. MANY THANKS FULHAM

Hi! You don't have to set up your guitar again when changing strings of same thickness, as you are going to do. If you change to heavier strings, you will have to set up your guitar again.

THANK YOU ARNULF I JUST THOUGHT AS THEY WERE ANTI RUST AND COATED I THOUGHT THEY MIGHT BE THICKER STRINGS. MANY THANKS FULHAM

HI FULHAM, JUST ONE OTHER TIP THAT MAY HELP YOU, IF YOU CHANGE ONE STRING AT A TIME AND TUNE AS YOU GO,YOU SHOULD FIND IT EASIER THAN TRYING TO ADJUST ALL SIX AFTERWARDS. DON'T FORGET THAT THEY WILL NEED STRETCHING AS WELL. BEST WISHES, GARRY.

Hi ,even with the same gauge of strings you sometimes have to do minor set-up tweaking, and don't forget intonation

Strings with the same gauge, but a other brand can have different pulling strenght.... So you have to set up it again!

Tension does vary across the brands ! might need to tweak
