Hi Pinot,I think that you would be a lot better to get a alesis midiverb 4 if you want it for singing it is a vocal unit and more suited for singing...regards....Freddie

HI PINOT ,I don't see why you cannot use a Quadraverb for vocal's as they have all the qualiies to sound great , just make up a patch by trial & error ,I have done this before for my daughter in law a Singer ,, sounded really great ..iTS all in there to be had .. plenty reverbs to choose from etc etc ..,delays in stereo etc & tweek the EQ's to suit vocal treble cut needed maybe ..A preamp prior to the Quad would also be a good thing depending on type of MIKE used??..but the way i did it i did not use a preamp but needed the in pot fully up.. GIVE iT A TRY you cannot lose any thing.. a bit of practice at home etc to set it up.. CHEERS BARRY..

Hi Barry,
yes I made first steps and you are right I have to turn Input to nearly maximum. I use a Boss 8 track mixer with preamp and put the Q+ in the effect loop. I turned the send also to maximum, it's not bad but the effect is only weak to hear. I will try to use the Q+ after the output.
Kind regards Pinot

I used my Q20 when I was doing sound for Gary Puckett (Union Gap fame) on his trip down here in NZ. He was doing a patriotic USA number and wanted some unusual setup delays which my Theatre system didn't lend itself to. It sounded great and the versatility of the q20 shone through. Cheers Ray

Hi, I changed the order now and put the Q+ after the mixer and now it works really good and I could reduce the input and output. The mixer has a preamp and I suppose that the preamp is after the effect loop. The only disadvantage is that I cannot assign different effect levels for each channel, but this is no real problem. I tried some of Charlies patches, but I think I have to build own patches for singing. I can program it technically, but I am not so good in hearing out release time and feedback, or the parameters for reverb. I am looking especially for an Abbey Road Studio 2 sound for Cliff or Beatles songs. If anyone has some advice for me I would be grateful. Kind regards Pinot
