Amanda Hambidge, a valued friend and member of this site wrote to tell me she had a mini stroke on Tuesday, was in hospital for 36 hours and is now home and having to rest and not allowed to drive for one month.
I am sure you would all like to join me in sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Had the same happen to me last year. Made full recovery, and changed lifestyle for the better.

hi amanda just got back from a week away and read this. amanda hang on in there and i am certain you will make a full recovery, but take it easy for a while. my mate aged 50yrs had a mini stroke and it took him about 10 months to fully recover and he did he`s back working full time now, no side effects. so just take your time and do it slowly. all the best amanda you are in all our thoughts not only on this site but every where you touch and all those people you have helped. good luck and stick in there. peter
