Played through one of these the other night and thought it was a great amp for Shads as well as other stuff. Not valve but very good emulation of a valve amp see details on site. www.blackstaramps.com/products/id60/

Hi Roger. Have recently bought the 15w version which for £200 is a sensational piece of kit for home use and recording. Good to see a british company at the forefront of the field again.
Kind regards

My pal upgraded his 60 watter to the 120 watter after we used it for a bit more headroom but to be fair the 60 watter coped and it was a very large room. The 15 watt and 30 watts versions are nice but they do not have the presence and midldle tone controls and have not tried one yet. Great price though Bazz.

B'y Hell Roger. If they are "as loud as valve" I should think the 120w model would be up for metal gigs! Regards Bazz
