Hi Tony, Very well done and excellent work on the double stop/harmonies. Maybe check the recording levels as on my system there is some distortion during the double stops ... unless it was intentional.

Thanks George for the comments, is the distortion on the high or low double stop verse as I cannot hear it on my system, but that is on a computer play back?
Regards Tony

Hi Tony, Did I mention what a great job you have done on this. ;D
The slight distortion I hear is not the unpleasant clipping type but softer as when an amp or amp sim is slightly overdriven and gives a sort of "dirty" but creamy sound, which actually I quite like. Striking 2 or more strings will overdrive but single strings are fine. It is on both verses but more noticeable on the high register.
It is definitely not an issue but I was curious whether you did it intentionally as part of the different sound. cheers George

Hi George No I wasn't reacting to your comment, it was just that I use Audacity for recording and have had some slight issues with it just lately, but me being a simple guy, can't find any other program as easy to use. With regards to you question, it is down to pure coincidence and not mastered, however I have always noticed that HBM on his later recordings also incorporates a little overdrive, but I could never seem to replicate it, so perhaps I found the answer on this one without knowing, point is how do I do it again?

Hi Tony
Great one. Well played and a lovely sound and tone. I also had a few problems with Audacity, so switched to Reaper. However, although more versatile, I did find it more difficult to use, and not as "user friendly", so for the sake of simplicity, I am now back with Audacity.
