Hello. I need some help to add patches to my Magicstomp.I thought i knew how to do it as i have all the info but the problem i have is this.I have Charlies patches but when i open up the unit they do not show either in user guitar bass etc. I want to add the ones i bought off a guy who advertises patches on the well known auction site not for the Shadows ones but all the others he made up but cannot understand how to do it as i do not want to lose Charlies though i could reinstall them if i messed up i guess. I know Charlies go to 33 and they cannot be in the bass section(it is the bass version)So what section are they in as i said they do not show when i open the unit up. Any help would be appreciated. PM me if you need my number i am happy to call you at a convenient time.
Roy

Hi Roy, Charlies patches are in the "user" section (u01 to u99) and the patch number is prefixed with a "u", any patches you add will be to the user section. The Yamaha patches are given a "P" prefix, and to get to the "u" prefix patches, you just have to scroll through to below P1 or above P99. If you wish to change your unit to the electric guitar or acoustic guitar model it's a fairly simple task (the hardware is the same for all three units, and the firmware is interchangeable between units) the usb connection is used to change it. To add the patches to Charlie's EFTP you will need to download the magicstomp editor, a link for it and lots of other good information is within this thread: www.charliehall.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=effects&action=display&thread=11709Kind regards, Chris

Hi Roy,
Have you got this sorted out yet? If not, I'll describe what you need to do in a PM.
