Hi All,
I've been play Shadows music for around 5 or so years now, mainly from tab. I started playing instrumentals as I can't sing at all, I really wanted to play Blues, but love the Shadows stuff I can play.
Having recently found backing tracks for lots of my favorite blues songs WITH vocals has set me off on a new direction.
However, this time I want to do it properly. I' m learning pentatonic scales, moveable chords, the CAGED system.
It's like starting again, and at 58 has given me renewed interest in my playing. My wife even let me buy a PRS SE custom as a present.
Guitars...... Is there any better instrument.
Tim.
PS. I'm not giving up on Hank and the Shadows, just trying to add another string to my bow.

I have treated myself to the Burns 40th Anniversary and itis superb for Shadows stuff. Roy

Tim, It's the spice of life... Everyone should try their hand at different music - only way to get better at it.
Cheers, Julian

Only one question. How do you manage to get your wife to allow you to buy stuff (toys) ?

Hi Bob, Did you notice that Tim is only 58 so I don't really think we should be asking how he wins his wife around ;D ;D
