Hi Ray,
There is only 1 bank of effects on the quadraverb, and I'm not really sure what you mean by "they would only go up", do you mean that you cannot switch, say, from patch 09 to 08, but can switch between 08 and 09? I have no problems changing patches in either direction using the "value" buttons on the front of the unit.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Ray,
I only use the front panel and I was unaware of a rear footswitch option - I thought a MIDI controller was the only way to change patches away from the box. As a player who hasn't done gigs for many a year, changing patches quickly is not critical for me.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Ray, the advance footswitch on the Quad + will only advance (i.e. increase) the patch number. However, the range over which the advance occurs can be set by the Footswitch Range page accessed by the the MIDI then PAGE buttons.
Hope that helps, Paul.

I think you might find if you set the range backwards, eg 66 to 45, then the programs selected by the advance footswitch will instead go backwards.
