I'm sorry to raise this one again but time and techology move on!
I recently changed my computer and in the process I 'lost' my wma to mp3 converter (I can't remember its name) so I need another. I've searched this site and there was quite a long discussion a couple of years ago about a program called SUPER something or other. I thought I'd try it but, if I've understood it properly, it wants 80 gig of hard drive space which seems an awful lot. Moreover, when I tried to install it my antivirus software flashed up all sorts of dire warnings which put me off.
So can anyone suggest a free conversion program which doesn't take up a lot of disk space, won't try to sneakily instal all sorts of rubbish at the same time and won't give my antivirus an apoplectic fit? Oh, and it would help if it does the job properly!
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Cheers.
Tony

Ian and Tony,
I've just tried to download this and my anti virus software (McAfee) immediately quarantined it as infected.
It's up to you........

AVG and Malwarebytes didn't find anything on mine Len, I think it may be a false positive for some reason in McAfee.
Did it say what it was infected with as when they just say its a generic Trojan or something like that then usually its not recognised it but knows that it will change the registry, as any program that is installed will do.

Many thanks for the suggestions and comments.
I've installed the program Ian recommended. It was quick and easy and everything seems OK. My antivirus (McAfee)DID flag up a warning but it wasn't as dramatic as before so, as the program came recommended, I ignored it.
Darryl - I followed Ian's suggestion before your reply was posted but thanks anyway.
Cheers.
