I find it difficult to understand someone who comes on Charlies to complain and criticise and does not listen to posted advice from Charlie and members if someone has a grievance there should be a way of dealing with it on a one to one basis and not by a someone going on with unfounded remarks and not listening to anyone. As sorry as it is in life some people act less than genuine. Apologies to everyone but somethings really do get to me. Keep Smiling Pete

I have seen this sort of thing more than once. Nothing members should be too concerned about except to try not to let it spoil your enjoyment of the site. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie
right so. Pete any examples of the "somethings that sometimes get to you"? Just in case for me and all the other`s to be more cautious! ;-)

Unfortunately some deluded people waste most of their lives trying to be confrontational and generally obnoxious. If they where to be like the members of this site and try to help others they would be a lot happier.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Keep Smiling Pete Stop moaning will you couldn't resist it mate I agree with you, but unfortunately, we live in a world where some people like to cause hassle and annoyance just for the fun of it, I have always believed that if you have an issue with somebody, you sort it out in private and seeing as this forum has a Private Messaging system there should be no excuse for it, and if they are unwilling to resolve their differences in private, they should be given a warning, any repeat offence should result in the deletion of their posts. But that's just my point of view. @charlie Hall & Son + Staff You have done an outstanding job creating this community and I know not much is known about you Charlie or *** apart from the EFTP stuff and other assorted things, but sometimes we feel the need to defend you and the site from trouble makers, please don't get offended, it's what true friends do for each other. You just keep doing what you have been and we the members can just ignore pointless threads etc. Sorry but I had to have my say all the best Dave

Hi Everyone,
I think there is enough positive evidence on here to know that the new Zoom G3 + patches are a real success story, those members who have posted their latest tracks on here using the new echo's have been nothing but praised for the wonderful sound, I have just written to one such member saying how great the sound is.
We will always get the odd problem with anything new but as long as we go about things in the right positive manner, all problems and difficulties can be overcome to everyone's satisfaction. This site is too well run and has too much to lose for anyone to try and make a fast buck, it is just not like that, those people working to improve sounds for us all are doing so for all our benefits not just their own.
A little patients and understanding, please.
Regards, Mel

Hi, As Charlie as said, We all support this site 100% and should not get too concerned over this silly issue. I for one would not be enjoying my return to music without the fantastic help from Charlie and his son ***. Although it is not compulsory in registration I do feel that it would be helpful if members put there country of origin or county next to their name especially if English is not their first language. This is my own point of view. Regards Carl

I should of course have also mentioned that locations should only be shown when ok with the relevent member. It works very well on Michael Messer's site.

Hi Guys I have been on sites where, one or two members will find it amusing to troll another lone member. Small minded people with nothing better to do. They form cliques and often think themselves the elite, letting you know that it is a PRIVILEGE for you to join them. Here, and other related sites, I found myself both welcomed and, immediately part of the froup. I thank you all and hope to remain an active member for a long time.
Regards Roger

Hey Maurice, Im a guy with a wicked sense of humour too. The good natured banter here is what I enjoy, almost as much as the music. I see you are from Merseyside,,,,,,,,,,, Only been to Liddypool twice but, found a warm welcome on both occasions.
Kind Regards

Hi Roger,
It was suggested by someone a long time ago that you needed a sense of humour to live in Liverpool

I dont know Maurice I like the liverpudlians myself.I like the sense of humour and the way they can laugh at themselves. The second trip I did was by coach and, it was really great. We did the usual Beatle tour. By the time we had a whipround to buy back the wheels, we weren't that late home either.

We stayed at the infamous Adelphi where we met the formidable manageress. She was actually very pleasant though, the staff were wary of what they said or did when she was on patrol.
