Hi Phil,
It may be good for vinyl enthusiasts, but, as much as I like the Beatles, i can think of far better ways to dispose of £288.00....and I no longer have (or want) a player deck.
Kind regards,
Chris

I have to agree with you Chris. I am a definite 100% Beatles fan. And if it wasnt for some of the more outlandish "stereo Mixes" put out over the years I would have had a much harder time listening to the different parts for my posts. This promo IMHO is a bit of let's play on the "Vinyl is the cool thing now" and rekindle interest in a superb but not so relevant band today. Although they have never been off my radar.
I can see it doing well though. But not for me. And I still have my "Garrard Zero 100" turntable which I use to transfer my vinyl to .mp3
Mike.

Not for me either as is mentioned in the video, the mastering may not be identical to the originals, a bit of a money making project for AR me thinks.

I will go the other way and say I think its worth going for.
Great to have good sounding vinyl system but pricey.
I have recently been thinking of getting a vinyl system together again.
Sold my Naim / Linn LP12 System to pay the bills a couple of years back. Hated doing it but at the time was the best way to raise some cash quickly.

I still have the original Beatles (and Shadows) vinyl albums, and a fully working Thorens turntable with Shure PU to play them, so no need for me to buy new vinyls !

Yes I still have an old Dansette Major? tucked away, its not been used in years. I've also got a number of Shadows LPs also not been played for ages. Maybe I got some Beatles single somewhere but don't remember where, old age must be catching up I guess.
