Well there can be also a factor, that can help some lesser and good talented people to preform on stage.... It's something you cant practise, it's self-confidence, some have it by nature, some have less and others have it in shiploads. I know a amateur player who's played all over Europe, with a bucket load of attitude and have a bravery on and off stage. He telling people(even when they don't want to hear) he's plays better Hank then Hank himself....dozens of followers, who boost his confidence sky high. Now the kicker, he doesn't recognize/hear his guitar is out of tune lots of times during his shows....sometimes the whole show, because he isn't really into advice from other people.... So you can look and feels successfully, without being practise your &#s off.... Tin hat in place Cheers Rob

Yes, that's right, Peter - deliberate practice. l didn't say it well, but the difference between the two studies is what they considered "practice." It is deliberate practice that counts.
