As a confirmed JamUp user, I was interested to see a new sim appear, especially as it is on offer at only £2.49 at the moment.
The app is Tonestack from Yonac. The app contains a multi-head echo, like JamUp, BUT with this one not only can you select a combination of heads, you can also select any number of heads from 1 to 4 and also stagger the amplitude of echo to increase/decrease in amplitude. The cost of this is also £2.49.
Having used this with Audiobus into a Vox AC30 sim on JamUp, although Tonestack also includes one as an in-app purchase, I got some nice echoes.
Haven't had chance to play with it properly yet, but it looks really promising, and at just under a fiver, if it's rubbish I haven't lost a lot.
Tim.

Thanks for the heads-up Tim. The "Echo Pad" from Holderness Media (http://www.holdernessmedia.com/home/ios-applications/music/echo-pad) also has a multi-head function which was the subject of a lot of posts on the Shadows web site (http://www.shadowmusic.bdme.co.uk/) I tried to use JamUp last night on my Ipad 2 using Guitarface II from Miditech. This has a USB connection so I plugged this into a 3rd party camera connector to hook into the Ipad but no joy. It seems that Apple block anything that is not made by them so I will need to look to buy the official camera connector and hope that it works OK. In the meantime I am playing around with VST Shadow sounds on my PC using Guitarface to connect the guitar. This solution is put out by Christian (http://vintage-sounds.freeforums.net/)They are sounds excellent and well worth looking at. Cheers, John
