Which Vox amp would you recommend for home use only.
Would prefer something less then 30 watts, much too loud for home.
Thanks
Alan

I recently bought an AC4 as my Ac30 is too loud for home and it is great.... and we have used them at the club with a mic...

HI Alan, I've got a ac15 single speaker model that I am very happy with, the only thing is that it is heavy.Mine doesn't get moved about so it's not a problem, however my son has just bought a Vox Valvetronic VT20+ which is not heavy at all and he is very pleased with it. Well worth trying it out. Regards Ray.

Thanks guys, I went to my guitar shop today but they had sold out of both these Vox amps.
I was leaning towards the AC 15 C1 but I need to try them both.
I will wait till they are back in stock and try both,I just wanted some feedback from users.

Hi Alan, if you are thinking of a VOX AC4 my friend has one for sale its the hand wired version in pristine condition and has never left his house from new. It will be a huge saving on the retail price.

I find I am same as Alan & considering either the Ac4 or the Valvetronix VT20+. Unfortunately I am housebound & unable to get to any shops to try before buying. I have asked one or two players who have recommended the AC4 if they had done any sound files with it but have not yet recorded with it. Obviously a direct comparison between the 2 playing just one tune using same player & guitar/effects etc would help. Anyone help?. Regards Jono
