Hi Everyone,
In April this year, I PM'd ''Airhostess'' to see why she had stopped contributing to the site, but heard nothing back. As time went by I was concerned that something may have happened to her.
But, and to my delight and surprise she PM'd me a couple of weeks ago, which I somehow missed. However, today I was delighted that she had PM'd back. She has been through a torrid time of late and is reluctant to participate again because of the time lag! Nonsense, let's give her a BIG welcome back.
Below is the message and her reply:

Hi Kay, myself and Phil McGarrick have noticed your absence over the past few weeks and were wondering if you are OK. You haven't posted anything or commented lately which is not like you.
As I say, we both hope you are well and just going through a phase. If you are under the weather we hope you will soon feel well enough to post your great recordings.
All the very best,
John Skelton and Phil McGarrick

Hi John and Phil,
Many, many thanks for taking the time to contact me about my absence from the site and my health, and please accept my most sincere apologies for taking so much time (8 months or more)to reply to you both.
I haven't been on the site or even looked in on things since March, and it really was due to health reasons,
As you may or may not know,I was involved in an accident quite a few years ago which damaged my spine, and was unable to fly due to the fact i would not be able to get out in an emergency situation, and since then the problem has moved to my neck as well, which gives me dreadful headache's,and severe pain in my neck, but even worse than that it has moved now to my right hand and forearm which for quite some time was totally dead and without any feeling, and when it did work (occasionally)I couldn't tell what I was picking up (no feeling at all) so I couldn't tell the difference between a brick and a plectrum, apart from the weight and therefore I couldn't play the guitar or even type or drive my car as like most people I am right handed, so the guitar was out and typing with my left hand was also a no no, so coming onto here was also out as I couldn't play, and replying to other members postings would have been almost impossible,so I decided to quietly leave, with the hope I could come back at a later date so I did not cancel my membership just left it in abeyance.
On top of all this I started to have massive weight loss roughly 2,lb's a day, and have lost about 2 1/2 to 3 stone in about 2 month's, yes I wanted to lose some pounds as I was a little overweight, but that really frightened me and it seems to have settled down now (I thought it was something seriously nasty ) but I am feeling so much better now and I would love to come back.
I do have a few tracks I had previously done before my health problems really went downhill but I am rather hesitant as to what the other members would think of me after being away for so long and of course I may be away again,as it really will never get totally better ....just gradually worse, who know's I would be so grateful if you would remember me to all those who know me and have supported me and especially to both you and Phil for being such friends.
if you wish, you can contact me on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or on here if I can manage it
again john many thanks to both you and Phil for your concern and apologies for the delay in replying
kindest regards to you both
KAY
