With immediate effect, I will not allow any reference to the well known auction site or the linking to any ad on their sites. This will include adverts placed on this site. Such ads will be deleted without question. I have mentioned this before but to reiterate at this appropriate time, any item advertised elswhere other than this site will not be supported by me. If you are unsure which auction site I am talking about then you can take it to mean every auction or selling site you can think of. Regards, Charlie

Hi Roger, Thanks. It's a very new request and not part of the rules as yet. It may seem a strange and maybe even unreasonable request but I am done with being f*kced over by e*a* with them not acknowledging my intellectual property rights. One way to fight it is to not support anything sold through them. I want them to suffer for what they have done to me. I hope anyone who geuinely supports me would feel the same way. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie,
and that verdict above means, that all the efforts to sell my Alesis Q20 and the Quad GT (although bought before 12th of December 2014 and checked with you before going on e-bay early December, that they are certified EFTP Patches, and what I have to do in transferring the names of the potential buyers, that I cannot guarantee them your Support. Although I have tried FIRST at your Swap Thread with no Response. So then I could certainly claim, that my Units come with a certified EFTP Patch, and are no pirated copies, but with no further Support?! Or second alternative, I just put them for sale again at your site, and wait....

Hi Karl, That is what I want everyone to think. Please email me so I can discuss it with you. I would suggest that you advertise them again here. You can mention that they are advertised elsewhere. You may have better luck this time if possible customers know they are going to be harder to find in the future. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie,
thanks for the quick answer. Maybe this time as everything is "boiling" down to buy this certified EFTP patches Units the success in sales is getting better. I could not understand, why they all are so keen on your guaranteed Support because 1. when I bought the patches I tried to acquire and gain the property for the patches only. In no way did I ever thought, to acquire also the "lifelong" Support from you and 2. in the last 4-5 years everything worked fine, with all my 3 different Units,(Q20,Quad GT, RFX2200) and in case everything goes wrong, I still could try to restart and reset with the sysex files. BUT this we have agreed not to Transfer to the new owners. So my suspicion was rather, that when there is no more direct knowledge by you of the new owners, how could one prevent the certified Patches from beeing pirated and wildly distributed. So in the next days you will find my offers again on your site. (Wonder, if a Q20 with certified patches for half the Price of your new H/C pedal. will have a Chance on the market.)
Best Shadowkarl

Hi Karl, I think people are only concerned about the support because I have made an issue of it recently. If I had said nothing no one would think about it. I am sure it will not be necessary to lower the price of the Q20 to half the price of a Hall & Collins echo! I believe there is a Q20 currently for sale here at £550. Regards, Charlie

Regards, Charlie There certainly is ! although there doesn't seem to be many takers .... it's a shame as it cost me around £850 to purchase the unit in total - still I can look back on 7 years of phenomenal sound!! Karl - I'm sure there will be many people who want a rack mounted unit - time will tell!

Thank you Charlie and Mark
so let`s hope Mark that it is an opportunity for the ones who would not be able to buy the Hall/Collins echo compensating it with the Alesis Units. (I do have still the Quad GT and an RFX 2200 for very moderate Prices.. ) I feel partly with you, as I also paid for the Q 20 around 700.- GBP straight imported from the US. And then applied the 175 patches by the edirol Hardware myself. It also gave me for the last 6 or 7 years that fantastic Sound. As you said, time will tell...
