My son bought me the Blackstar 3 fly min amp for xmas and I can not believe how good it is for practicing, its just amazing I can get a brilliant Shads sound from it, I connect My Magicstomp and my Etap2hw to it then connect it the laptop through the line in to play the backing track, I just can not believe how good it is, I have just bought the extension cab that goes with it and the PSU to save the batteries, you can not go wrong with this amp. As any one else got or used one of these ? I prefer this than going through my computer using guitar rig 5 as the sounds are more authentic simply brilliant.

I have a Blackstar Ht 50 and an AC30 on the clean channel of the Blackstar it has a Fender and Vox setting, I tried running my EFTP into it and it on the Vox setting and it sounded horrible, I was wondering if it is cause it just has a tone control? no treble or bass? In saying that the channels sound great on their own. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vHWvnSYZekMatthew

I have never used a Blackstar amp before, this was a present from my son for Xmas, I normally use my Laney LC15R with upgrades for playing gigs and practicing but this Blackstar fly 3 is really great for practicing and the sounds are surreal. I have used mini amps before and to be honest they were really awful you could not get a good clean sound. But the fly is different it is pure class, its loud enough to play to a audience in the house and sounds really good. You can also have it on low volume and not disturb any one. I am completely blown away and hooked on this little gem. Carlos
