app.box.com/s/jqc6tm8zl3foubdqfaoajgv6pp7ryo9tIn view of the recent death of Joe Maudlin I sorted out this soundfile I put down some years ago when just getting into home recording. Its not great quality...the voice has some clipping audible.....but it serves the current purpose. Without being conscious of being in the presence of greatness, my brother took me to see Buddy and the Crickets at Birmingham Town Hall in 1958. I know that Charlie rates Buddy as one of his greatest inspirations and the band I gig with include at least 4 of his songs in our normal set.......they are still great songs to play...........simple but wonderfully melodic and catchy. Gear was a Boss 600 desk using on board FX and drums and my guitar then was a Squier 1950's CV Strat. Baz
