Here is one more with my new H&C echo straight into the AC30 in front of the camera. It is the beautiful "Somewhere" played without the DeArmond foot pedal. Maybe how it could have sounded in 1962? Hope you´ll like it. Kurt Somewhere - Kurt Fröberg

Hi Kurt, I like it, very much. I also think it could have sounded similar to this in 1962. Regards, Charlie

Great song, sounded really good. By the way, I think you need a few more guitars

A great number, well played and a really wonderful sound. What amazes me more though is that the sound was achieved without using any additional effects. Really pleased that I have ordered my H&C from the next batch. Regards Grunt

Excellent sound on both Somewhere and Sweetdreams in simple/honest recordings.
I notice in particular - the appreciable compression, and - FLATWOUNDS!
Thanks for posting Kurt

Hi Kurt, Very good guitar sound and well played. I didn't miss the swell pedal, I'm not a fan of it (only because I'm hopeless at using one ). Kind regards, Chris

Well played and a lovely sound, I do this with a straight forward swell pedal but agree that it wasn't missed here.

Hi Kurt, Loved it, thought you did a great job. I have always fancied playing that tune, where did you get the BT and Tabs from Adamdz

Hi Adamdz, glad you liked my recording of this tune. The backing I used is from one of the UB Hank CDs that I bought many years ago (late 90´s). This backing was on the CD named "UB Hank again". I think it should be available from Leo´s Den, but now the CD is renamed "UB Hank Vol. 2". Se link UB Hank Vol. 2 at Leo´s DenRegarding tabs, I never use tabs, so I don´t know if they exist for this tune. Hope this helps Kurt

Thank you all for your comments! Claude, I used the neck pickup and P14 on this tune. Echo Drive and Wow & Flutter on max.
