What a great video ... except for the light. What stage manager points a big bright light direct into the audience eyes?
Was there a rhythm guitar player on stage? I could hear it, but I couldn't see him.

If that's at the NEC Birmingham at the music fair I was in the audience. Ben Marvin was on rhythm guitar and a drummer from one of the Scandanavian bands I believe. The clinic was presented by Eddie Allen.

such a shame there wasnt a last performance of the original shadows lineup. I think the closest it came to was at Shadowmania when Tony, Jet and Bruce performed together or Hank, Jet and Bruce at Marty Wildes concert.

It's nice to hear how important the personal feel and phrasing is and can do to make a tune come alive....everything is fallen on it's place. You can almost taste the feel of the original record....
Cheers Rob

Wonderful growl from Jet - I really don't think we appreciate fully his contribution to those early days... The look and the sound. It makes you wonder what could have happened if they had stayed together... We will never know.

I agree Tony, "Apache to Wonderful Land" is their golden era, although I think Guitar Tango was jets final track with them. regards gary

If I remember correctly on this, Jet had an endorsement with another guitar brand at the time and it took a lot of persuading to eventually let him use the fender bass on stage with Hank for this appearance.
