Why would it make you feel inferior? Give me melodic playing with real feeling, any day.

Hi scanners,
Thanks for posting, I wouldn't have watched it otherwise. He comes over as a nice guy; he certainly can play guitar, I liked it.

Something different to what is normally posted on here but obviously he is very talented playing guitars and it showed in playing this .Not everyone's choice of music but still a person who can play at speed. As for making anyone feel inferior there are many different ways and styles of playing guitars and it's all down to the individual skills of anyone.

Everyone had their likes, as for British guitarists I don't mind Led Zepplin, but I'm not a huge Jimmy Page fan, I'm not a Floyd or Gilmour fan either. I like Brian May and Clapton however Matt

I noticed the logo on the board behind him "what it means to be american".....I thought he was dutch Yep Ed and his brother are from Nijmegen in Holland, but they moved to the USA when they where very young. Ed when he plays in Holland and he knows his Dutch amp magician is in the house, he thanks him in Dutch for rescuing his famous brown sound Marshal amp years ago.... He start always with the question "Hey boerenlul (what means farmersc%#k) are you in the room?" Then he thanks him for what he did with the words "bedankt klootzak (thanks a##h&l)for saving my amps a##" Pardon my French Well I can remember the impact eruption made in the 70's..... Cheers Rob

I remember back in the early 90s listening to Gary Moore giving a radio interview. He was asked about Van Halen and other similar guitarists. He said, there are a lot of guitarists coming out of the New York Guitar Institute all with really good technical skills and guess what, they all sound the same. He continued, what is the point of all the hours of perfecting those flashy skills when there is no feeling in the music being produced, to my ears anyway. I tend to agree with him. Cheers, Graham
