After three months lay off of playing, now getting back into it. Original pain gone just a bit of post-op pain and stiffness in the fingers now, but improving each day now. Going back to my nemesis "The Stumble" Peter Greens version as played by Geoff Whitehorn which was almost impossible before the op, and now getting a good finger work out. Mike.

Thanks Charlie. It seemed a very long time as it was quite painful after op, looking back it isn't a long time but only being able to use one hand for a while is quite an eye opener. Even the loss of a thumb is very inconvenient, and as it is my dominant hand it was even more of a pain. Just trying to clean teeth and dry yourself after a shower is not easy one-handed but now discharged from physio it's all down to me to get it working again, even though it will never regain a 100% strength. Mike.

Did you ask for a gold plated one Mike as I can not tell with the black and white X ray Good luck with it starting to work better than you initially thought it would and lets hear some more good sounds from you using it

Thanks Sandra, unfortunately titanium was the only option. Can't wait to see what happens when I go through security on my way to Hong Kong next month, at least I have the x-ray pic on my phone if needed.
Mike.
