Love to play it, but hard to get back into if you make a slip! Definitely one of those tunes that you have to play without thinking what you are doing (fatal if you do!). Great tune, though, that deserves a better title.

Oh, I don't know, Noel. Bearing in mind that the tune came from the Aladdin panto, I think the title is a pretty clever pun on 'Jeannie With The Light Brown Hair.'
I can't play it either!

Hi All,
Although a Hank number and not shads, I've just heard Goodnight Dick for the first time. Certainly falls into the category of not having that sound.

I think the B side of Dance On was called All Day which is nothing like a Shadows tune.
How about Grandfathers Clock

one of the most unlike shadows sound tunes I can think of was their version of the ww1 song lilli marlene,cant remember which album it was on but it wasn't them at all cheers andy
