Hi Phil, it's a thing of beauty! Aparently your friend has design a label already for his first build....seems to me he's thinking of more samples.
Cheers Rob

Hi Phil Sorry I'm late! Got a note from me Mam! The ultimate 12 string! It is stunningly beautiful just as a work of art, let alone a musical instrument. Just the choice and look of the woods I find wonderful and that's before the exquisite detailing / engraving you have added. I guess it plays like a dream. I suspect it's NOT tuned E-e-A-a-D-d-G-g-B-b-E-e ? Cheers Ian

I have sent Alan all replies and here's his reply to me:-
Blimey Phil....I am bowled over by all those comments....maybe I should change profession!
There are two versions of Portuguese guitar (Lisbon and Coimbra)...with different scale lengths (440mm & 470mm)...this one is based on Coimbra, with my own Lisbon style detailing: the tunings are DABEAB for Lisbon and CGADGA for Coimbra (transposed one note lower)
Next one is a flamenco guitar!
