My Griffin StudiConnect has finally given up the ghost, so I'm looking for an interface for recording on my iPad2.
My audio output is stereo out of my mixer, the only interface I've found so far that will accept a stereo input is the Line6 Sonic Port ( not the VX model).
I currently use an iPad2 running iOS 8 (not updated to 9 yet).
Does anybody use this same set-up and, if so, what do you think of it.
Thanks,
Tim.

I have the L6 Sonic port and use it occasionally with my iPad 4 and it performs very well....a little fiddly due to its size and weight but otherwise all ok and the quality is good. Paul....

The Presonus iTwo will do the job too. I have one, and it is excellent into an iPad. Can also be plugged into a PC by USB. www.presonus.com/products/AudioBox-iTwo-StudioPresonus sells them as a package, or the iTwo just by itself (around £89 in the UK). Hope that helps. Duncan
