Hard to believe it's 57 years since the crash. I think with the time difference it would have happened in about 6 hours time.

I remember seeing a thing recently about a man that had something to do with organizing dances at the Surf Ballroom in Salt Lake City. He was talking about Buddy Holly etc. and said that he owned the land where the plane crashed and was only too willing to let people have access to the site.
