Another one gone...it's suspected that he shot himself.

Heard this last night... such a shame particularly given the circumstances.

I am shocked and saddened. Another diamond geezer departing this mortal coil.
ELP are incredibly talented musicians, and remain one of my favourite bands.
RIP Keith.

Seen the Nice live as a Trio at the Marquee Club London Soho around 1969. Fabulous !!
This is a shame what drives folk to take such action. A tragedy.

I never could get into ELP but saw The Nice several times, the first time was at the Marquee Club when David O'List was still with them. Brian Davison was a brilliant drummer. One of the last times I saw them was at Bury St Edmunds Athenaeum, and was very poorly attended for some reason. Very sad that Keith was down enough to take his own life, if that's what happened. RIP.

I wasn't into ELP but if true it's a very sad way to go.
I can't understand how anything could make anyone want to kill themselves.
Having said that there are probably things we don't know.
RIP Keith I hope you are in a better place.

Sad news. I spent a few days in London in summer 1968, and saw "The Nice" at the Marquee Club. Keith Emerson was great !
