HI All On friday i had the privilege of attending a guitar clinic at Peach Guitars in Colchester in the presence of Paul Reid Smith (Owner and Founder of PRS Guitars) and Bernie Marsden. I went along purely as a fan of PRS guitars, they are just amazing array of colours and are great build quality. Really enjoyable evening and the icing on the cake was watching Bernie Marsden putting his latest signature model through its paces. He had a tone to die for and i was lucky enough after the clinic to be able to chat with Bernie. The tone he had was literally just the guitar in to the amp and it really blew my mind, a lot of people say tone is in the fingers and in the case of Bernie it certainly is true. Ok the amp and guitar are about £5000 but it still shows. Some pics below, hope you enjoy, bit different to Hank and The Shadows but a very eye opening evening. Now where can i get a lottery win to add the faded blue custom 24 to my collection at £4300!!! Thanks

Seems Paul is doing a whirlwind tour of the shops that sell most of his guitars in the UK and doing some signings. I only found out 2 days afterwards that he had been at Reidy's of Blackburn where I bought my Gretsch G5622T from last year. Apparently lots of people were bringing in their PRS guitars for him to sign and he also signed many of the guitars they had in stock for sale. They do always look and sound good, pleased you managed to make it Steve

Steve,
I've always been a fan of PRS guitars, finally got myself a PRS SE Custom 24. Gorgeous purple quilted finish, plays a dream.
Even better, when I got it home found it was a limited edition finish of only 200 worldwide.
It's my goto guitar for most things except Shadows stuff.
Tim.
