Hi Phil, An amazing job and interesting to see some of the details as you progressed the project. Especially the broken switch and straightening the neck ! Did you remove the rust from the bridge/saddles and block or does that go with the mo' as they say ? Only thing left is to fill and repair all those terrible nicks, scratches and gouges in the paint ! Regards George

Rob, you amongst a few others here know what it's like to get these oldies back up and running and back doing what they were built for Thanks George, That switch was an interesting project but the repair worked and it's now much as it should be...those modern switches are like something from a fairground The saddles and parts of the block were heavily corroded with thick rust, this was removed, but not back to a "new" condition as some of the rust colour and patina remains, I think this is how it should be...unless the guitar was mint to start with Gotta get some filler on the nicks and scratches A sound file coming up Best regards, Phil
