(Oh goodness, here we go again!)
I am thinking about purchasing a Vox V20X and as well as having read the posts on this forum, I have perused the manual online for this particular model, hoping for answers. I also tried utube without much success as the majority of reviewers young and old seem obsessed with how many sounds you get from it with an emphasis on tweaking the gain knob!
Moving on. I want to do some live playing (Shads etc) and from what I understand by reading the manual, you need to use the aux in to play a backing track. OK. However there is a usb slot on the amp for computer connection to use the Tonelab software. What I would like to know is, can the usb connection be used to play a backing track from the computer instead of using the Aux in.
I assume if I was to use the Aux in using my laptop, it would have to be connected via an interface!
Also, has anyone used an effects pedal with this amp in manual mode. I have a Zoom G3 with eftp.
By the way, for those of you who wax lyrical about your AC4 etc, are you playing your BT through a PA system?
In great anticipation!

Ed,
If it's any help, I play my backing tracks directly from the headphone socket on my laptop directly into the Aux In. I'm using a Valvetronix VT20+, but guess the same will apply to the V20x. You need to play around a bit with the volume settings, but I get on alright withit.
I don't have a usb connection on my amp, so can't comment on that.
Hope that helps,
Tim.
