Hello all I have a Laney LC15R amp which is spot on to my ears for most of the stuff I like to play with the exception that when its operated at anything above minimal volume it emits an uncommon level of background noise (frying chips!!) I realise that its a fairly 'gainy' amp but I wondered if anyone could advise on any way to reduce this by changing components etc so that I would still have the 'gain' but quietening the background din? Any suggestions appreciated Regards David
