There was a small fault on my HCSE. The Red indicator light would not light up when the unit was "ON" I was concerned because the Guarantee had expired, and I live in Japan and I know the air Freight to return the unit is £56 each way!! I contacted Derek at HCSE Support. He was very helpful, and forwarded my email to Stephen Rouse (Director) of Electromech Assemblies. Stephen was amazing, and said that he would try to help, as it was impractical to return the unit. He asked a series of questions in order to establish the problem. He then sent emails with detailed instructions and photos explaining the necessary steps. Within perhaps five hours the problem had been sorted, and all was once again in working order. I have posted the above as I think exceptional service should be acknowledged!! Thanks to all concerned!! Regards Dave

Hi Charlie , I sent my HCSE unit for repair(hum issue) last Friday and now I had it back. It was sent back the SAME day it was delivered there on Wilton Road ! Amazing support I would say ! I plugged in my unit to mains and to my vox ac 15(diy) amp . no HUM !!! Because I'm a realistic , I'd like to know at least something about the source of the hum noise please ? Hi Jyrki, The earth routings on the main circuit board will have been changed, and an extra earth wire will have been added to the fixing nut that I mentioned before. Glad you are pleased with the result! Regards, Charlie

I've had some marvellous help and support from you Charlie!, and Derek from H&C ! About the grounding issue that you mentioned,hasn't anybody else been "suffering"with same kind of symptoms? Why the grounding problem was in my unit only ? BUT AFTER ALL: I'm a very happy fellow now , playing my strat to the HCSE and a DIY ac15 ! What a wonderful echo unit I would say !I used an Amtech AGE-1 for 10 years but now I can't live without the HCSE,seriously.....! Thank you for your support ! With Kind Regards, Jyrki
