Any one else had their "BOX" layout changed to just a list of the files uploaded, I used to be able to see all the recent files, the number of downloads etc, that is now just a boring list of uploads and no other info. It also says I have no permission to access stats on my files any more Mike.

Yep.......and haven't yet found a way to access stats..............being a cynic I'm guessing we might have to pay for an upgrade to do this

I managed to log a "ticket" about this problem, and on the Box forum it is a known problem, apparently they are working on it.

Well bad news about Box see reply to my complaint. "Aira Aira (Box Customer Success) Jun 15, 6:14 AM BST Hi, Thanks for getting in touch with Box User Services. I am happy to help and I apologize for the trouble. Upon checking, I see that the account is under our Personal Free. It seems that the Access Stats was never been available for free account. Access Stats are only available to Starter, Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise accounts. Please let me know if you need more questions from here. Have a good one! Best, Aira Box User Services" Mike. PS Time to find another site, Maybe back to 4shared

Hi Mike, I have also raised a ticket with support on this issue but no reply as yet.
In general I have found the Box support staff very helpful but at present they will be inundated with complaints and queries over the new format. 1st level support staff often have incomplete knowledge of the queries raised and are anxious to get rid of the query in the quickest and easiest way possible. AKA a "fob off".
The reply you received is a good example.
I suspect the access stats for the paid versions includes more information than the free version. My suggestion would be respond with the fact that stats such as number of downloads and previews have ALWAYS been available for the free edition and were accidentally removed during the changeover to the new Box version. There are forum posts that confirm this.
Support staff are obliged to investigate properly any customer query so ask to have the issue escalated as the response is not satisfactory.
Regards George

Hi again Mike, This is a post made yesterday in the support forum about this issue so hopefully it will be resolved "shortly". George
"Hello again, all @2sparkley @freds_1030 @gluedtomycrafts @rhythmtunes @dbitounis @gladson -- Following up on my previous reply with an update: we've identified the source of this issue, and will be working to resolve it as part of some updates to the Access Stats feature overall. If you haven't already, please open a case with our User Services team so we can keep you updated on when those updates get released.
Brad Monroe
Product Manager, Box Web Application"

A further update on this issue posted today by Brad Monroe, the Product Manager confirming the preview/download stats will be reinstated for free accounts though no details on when as yet. It looks like instead of the simple number next to the filename, it will be necessary to select the file when a "Details" sidebar will open up containing the stats. A pretty clumsy method in my opinion.
This is an excerpt from his post on the Community forum. A "Personal" user means the free account.
"The current bug is that this sidebar entry for Access Stats is not properly showing up when the file is owned by a Personal or Personal Pro user. This is what we will be fixing as part of the updates I previously referenced. Following the update, the right sidebar section for Access Stats will be shown regardless of whether the owner is Personal, Personal Pro, or another on another Box plan. "
cheers George
