Having now got a new 2017 128gb iPad, I've gone fully iPad with my new minimalist set-up. New set-up of 2017 iPad running Tonestack v3.0. Normally practice through headphones, but the iRig also has an amp out socket if I want to connect to monitors. app.box.com/s/aqhfufwl1nx4kfafruzn0tzlc06m9kcdiPad and iRig HD2: app.box.com/s/3xk7uyt6e010k4n0ti5gnejwleijplefMinimalist pedal board, just a BOSS FV-500H and iRig Blueboard. The pedal can be assigned to any MIDI parameter, so normally use it as a Volume or Wah, but it can control any variable control (i.e: Gain, Tone, Tremolo Speed, etc.). Each Blueboard switch can control multiple stomps, so can switch on, for example, boost and chorus together, or can change presets. MIDI setting are stored within each preset patch, so one patch for Shadows, one for Modern Hank, one for Gary Moore, etc. app.box.com/s/5nnz6tkjhueqw82zxn0okdyphvt5l63tWhilst it won't appeal to the purists, it's close enough for me. I'm loving the flexibility of this setup. The app also include all my backing tracks with the ability to slow down for practice, and there's also a dcent 8-track recorder. I'm not about to sell any of my analogue gear yet, but so far my experiment with it have proved very nice. Sorry about the links, not inline picture, but couldn't remember how to insert a picture. Tim.

Hello Tim, can you tell me how you import your BTs into Tonestack on your iPad. Do you import them as a Playlist, if so how. I have tried to import songs into the Tapedeck facility but it looks like you have to use iTunes from a connected computer and only one tune at a time, not a playlist. Is there a way to import Playlists that are already on the iPad. The user manual is not very helpful and I have contacted Yonac for assistance but at this time no reply. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Geoff

Geoff,
Never used iTunes, hate it.
All my backing tracks are held in AudioShare. My Shadows ones from CD were ripped onto my PC, then transferred to AudioShare via local Wi-Fi transfer. My others from Karaoke Version go to Google Drive, then AudioShare.
AudioShare is a brilliant app and well worth having.
From AudioShare, I just select the track and select 'Open In..', the select ToneStack. They then go into the Tape list. Once in the tape list, you can use them in the Tapedeck or 8-track. You have to do them one at a time, but it doesn't take long. You can't import or create playlists in ToneStack.
If you want to play along to a playlist, have a look at the 'One Track' app, this allows you to import iTunes playlist, or create new ones on the fly. You could then use AudioBus and MiMix to play along to the selected playlist.
Hope this helps, if you need any more help just ask. It's good to have other iPad users on here.
Tim.
