Hi Had my signature echo for a while now brilliant bit of kit.I have just changed my amp to a marshall jvm 205c and notice it has fx loop connections. Can i connect my echo unit thro the loop and if so what connects where. I dont know if it would improve the sound or not. I'm very pleased playing through the echo unit, guitar/echo/amp in but just wondered if there is any benifit. Thanks Pete

Hi Pete, I recommend that you keep the H & C unit between the guitar and amp as its gain stages are optimised for guitar signal levels. Effects loop levels work better with rack gear. Regards, Charlie

Hi Pete, The only time you might find the effects loop useful is if you are using the amps own distortion as this would also distort the echo, whereas the effects loop is after the pre-amp,You would connect send to the input side of your pedal and return to the output hope this makes sense. Steve.
