I should have one of these arriving in the next couple of days. On scouring this, and other, forums I have found some settings to try for classic Shadows sounds.
Does anybody use one for modern Hank sounds, if so, what settings do you use.
Looking forward to trying it after hearing some of the soundfiles.
Tim.

Well, it arrived 3 days early so I've just had a quick 1/2 hours play with it.
So far, I’m very impressed.

Hi Tim
I have one and use it for modern Hank sounds as well as the classic Shads tunes.
I think the difference is mainly in the amount of bass and middle to 'dial in' to the sound. As a basis for experimentation for the modern sound, you might try bass, middle and treble (or LOW, MID AND HIGH as the knobs are marked) at halfway, DRIVE at about 3 o' clock or a bit less, VOICE also at halfway and LEVEL to your taste. You can then fine tune to suit the rest of your equipment, your ears and your playing style.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Cheers.
Tony

Hi Tim
I just realised I made a mistake in my reply. DRIVE should be at 9 o'clock or a bit less, not 3 o'clock as I said. 3 o'clock would shred your ears and everything else in the room!
