For those who didn't see it or who are unable to do so because they are outside of the UK, this was recently broadcast on the BBC and is about The Pogues and Kirsty McColl's making their UK Xmas hit "The Fairytale of New York" which some people think is the best Xmas song ever and some think it is the worst, I like it and find it a very interesting song but think that there are many better and many much worse at representing Xmas. we.tl/t-gOBpY5mKxTMerry Christmas everyone

This song is not for everyone and, don’t listen to the words........but .........linsults aparts, in tune or out of tune.......this song definitely fits that French expression .....that I can’t spell......but Didier can........it has.that certain something, but I don’t know what.
It must have earnt the writer a lot of money and many other writers are probably looking for this brand of Marmite.
As for me...i’m An Aye Aye cap’n. I think it’s great.
Cheers

You're dead right Mick, the others obviously have no taste I think the phrase you're looking for is a certain 'je ne sais quoi'
