just noticed on bbc 4 tonight 9 o'clock is a documentary on the making of the album " the chirpin' crickets ". I still remember looking in the windows of hamiltons ( Middlesbrough musical insts and record shop )at the cover picture of the crickets holding that "thar" sunburst strat………..and, as I mentioned above, I have loved that guitar ever since, and still do. I think that genre still delivers " BIG TIME "

My parents bought it as a Christmas present for me (remember those days when one present was enough?) I'm surprised it hasn't become transparent given that I played it to death while I learned to play every track! I learned so much about the guitar by playing those great Buddy licks.
