I have only just noticed that this site now has the encrypted connection lock!
I wonder if this is why a couple of people noticed it was down this morning or I just missed when it happenedt?
Regards

Hi Gary, I don't believe I have seen any notification of this from Proboards. I have seen nothing different today so I wonder if it is specific to certain browsers. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie,
I'm using an Apple iMac with Safari, it's in the top header and when clicked shows the certification.
If it has recently happened your browser may still be using the cache, a refresh may restore it and because it's a URL header should be visible in all browsers.
I have Emailed a screen shot to you, but couldn't get one showing certificate.
Regards
Gary

Hi Charlie,
There has been something different in recent weeks, I now periodically get a screen with the right background colours, but there is no text.
Where the text should be there is only random black boxes or triangles, to correct it I have to close the whole browser and reopen it!
Regards
Gary

My main browser is MS Edge which comes with Windows 10. I haven't had any weird things happening, possibly because I use that browser. I don't like it for everything and it is difficult or sometimes impossible to download stuff. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie/Les
That possibly explains things as I use software that may possibly clash with hidden processes, a browser restart probably resets it!

Hi Charlie,
I just had a look and Apple no longer support Safari for Windows, I looked at Edge and wondered if some of your download problems might be associated with the privacy settings?

Hi Gary, Thanks, I'll look into that. My workaround is using Google Chrome on the occasions Edge doesn't work for me. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie.
Google Chrome seems to be the one most MS Windows users install as the default, I believe there was an update in the last week or two that improves malware detection.
