This mwy be good news or bad news, depending on your point of view. For quite a while I have been plagued by my recording software running variable speed or latency on my recorded analogue tracks. Typically a 3 minute recorded guitar track will PLAYBACK fast compared to its BT. About 1/4 bar early by the end of 3 minutes. So an impossible situation. After many months faffing about and getting nowhere, enter local PC TechyMan. In desperation I called in the PC Experts and he has solved the problem. Don't ask - its all mumbo jumbo to me. I just use the darned thing. So, once we're back from holidays, I'll try recording again. As I say, good news or bad news?? Bests Ian

Great news Ian and welcome home.
Hope your hols hit the spot and glad your PC man came up with a solution. If its of any future use to you my set up of a Focusrite into a dedicated mid range laptop gives me a very stable latency of around 62ms but I don't run anything else other than a BT and DAW thro a 27" monitor. There is some security software in there but not sure if it affects latency. Anyway onwards and upwards with your projects.
