Hi All: There is my new guitar (a strato custom model). This project was done as follows: 1) Alder body (from USA); 2) All hardware (from Bill Callaham - USA) 3) Pickups: Lindy Fralin 4) Chrome Hardware was Gold plated here in Brazil 5) Fiesta Red paint finish (in my own work company) 6) Fender strato neck (I used an old neck from another guitar) 7) And my mounting own work (this was the most important part... ) Now it's sounding great (but this wasn't my first opinion when I played it at the first time......) See some photos bellow....... Cheers from Brazil! Roberto

Hi betowelch,
Nice looking project, it looked a rather large bolt going through the neck cavity to hold it whilst painting. Have you opened up the microtilt hole and plugged it afterwards?.
Kind regards,
grip

Hi Roberto, I haven't looked at the pics yet but I will later. I have tried to edit your post so that the pics appear in your message but it did not work. I hope someone knows how to do it. Regards, Charlie

Hi Roberto Your guitar really look nice..your guy did a good job. Are they noiseless pickups? You need only a nice easy-mute tremolo.
Instruction on how to put you link. Go into the modify mode, click on the bottom row..4th Icon. This two enclosed img will appear..(I put the three dots so that it does appear here) [..img][.../img] Now, copy the whole link between the right hand bracket img and the left bracket of the following img.
You have to do this each one of your link. Presto your images will appear. ;D Sheendigs

Hi Roberto, Nice guitar.
A small addition re posting pictures. Ian's suggestion does show the photo but it is a smaller (200x150) "preview" photo that 4Shared creates from your full size one (640x480). To post the full size picture requires using something like Photobucket (also free) that allows direct links. If you then surround the direct link with the img tags it will show in the post as Charlie suggested. Cheers George

Thanks to everyone for your help. The guitar looks very good, I would be interested to know what was done to make it sound better than it did at first. Regards, Charlie

Hi Grip / Charlie / Sheendigs / Olemuso and George:
Thanks for watching and for your replay mainly concerning how to post directly the photos..... Grip:: The body had already this full hole on the neck and we use it to adapt a screw to help us to support it during painting. This hole doesn't was plugged later. Sheendigs/Olemuso and George: I tried the Sheendigs way but it's no work with me...I don't why. Then I tried as Olemuso explain me and it works. But I think that what George are saying it's best to put these photos in a large size. But I think that this isn't possible through 4Shared..
But now that the photos are directly posted.....what do you think about my new guitar?
Cheers from Brazil! Roberto

Hi Charlie:
Ok Now you could saw it....Thanks for your comments about it. Well my first opinion about this guitar wasn't so good. I though that it was the same case as an old shoes....are always better than a new one....but later....... your opinion is changing with time....

Hi There Here is an example.. [...img]http://dc161.4shared.com/img/141344428/2631b048/Nova_Guitarra2.JPG[.../img] And the result with the same instruction and it works..without the dots introduced.. The image is smaller..if one wants a bigger image..do as Olemuso said and then when having the pointer on the image..it will turn to a hand..indicating that one can show the full-blown image kept! ;D Sheendigs

The guitar looks very nice indeed and you must be very happy with it and your accomplishment. I know I would be. I look forward to you posting some sound clips.
Best regards Phil

Hi Roberto
Excellent project and it looks great. Lindy Fralins are one of my favourite vintage Strat pickup replacements. I don't think Fralins do a noisless vintage, but if they did, i would not use them, nuff said.
