Hi Charlie
In 'Sound Files' you play a very nice 'Theme from Giant'. Is the backing track of your own making? If not, could I ask from where it came. I have a few Shadows backing tracks, but not this one.
Where generally is the best place to obtain Mp3 backing tracks, or are you not allowed to say?
Best regards Roger

Hi Roger, Thanks. No, it isn't my own backing track. I am fairly sure the backing I played to was the UB Hank version. I don't know any sources of backing tracks that are available as mp3 files, other than someone converting to mp3 from a CD track for example. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the reply. I assume from what you say that they must be midi or wav files then. I guess I'll have to keep my ear to the ground, although I think I can convert them.
Best regards Roger

Hi Roger There are various downloadable programs available to convert audio files from one format to another, including mp3. I've been using one called "Switch" for the last couple of years and even to a non teccie like me it's dead easy to use and I haven't had any problems at all. Not only that but it also retains your file in the original format. There's quite a long free trial period and then it's about £15 per year (I think). More information here: www.nch.com.au/softwareCheers. Tony

Many thanks Tony,
I already have a couple of converters myself, but if I run into trouble I'll give the website a go.
Thanks again.
Best regards Roger
