Hi all,
about to buy a set of CS54'S from the Fender website. Been on one or two forums and some of the guys are saying there is no way to tell which pick-up belongs where....does anyone know if impedance is the same on all 3?
Steph.

Hi Steph,
About six years ago I had the same fitted to my strat, not quite sure about markings but you might find different length wiring which will determine what pickup goes where. Hope this might help.
Regards, Garry.

These CS54 pickups on the GAK website state the following. Custom '54 Bridge Pickup: DC Resistance 6.5K, Inductance 2.75 Henries Custom '54 Neck / Middle Pickups: DC Resistance 5.9K, Inductance 2.4 Henries
On most pickup sets the leads are of different lengths indicating each pickup position on the guitar.

Cheers Barry, forgot about the "obvious"... length of wire. I can put them on the multimeter as well.
Thanks for the info.
