I was in Perth last week and saw Hanks Strat he used through the 80s and 90s on display at Concept music. I was talking to the owner Graeme and he said Ben who works there part time said Hank just has it lying around at home and he asked he he could display it at the store . I have a couple of smart Alecs on Facebook saying it’s not his real guitar despite showing Graeme interviewing Hank with the guitar there, 🤦🏻♂️ It must be a good copy then photos.app.goo.gl/KvZJ562o7XamBdQL9Matthew

I also had some interesting smarties coming up with the same arguments on F/B even after i directed them to watch Hanks interview with Graeme some people just seem to know every thing in spite of the facts some even suggesting that the original strat was refinished in the Uk BTW did you actually get to touch hanks 58 while in the store Cheers John

No, it was in a cabinet, but I saw it close up had signs of wear and the Kinman pick ups . Actually I believe the original Strat was painted white and Cliff used it, and Bruce got it repainted red, I could be wrong Matt

EDIT: Sorry, quoted the wrong post - bad eyesight

From everything I've seen and read Hank's original Feiesta Red Strat purchased for him by Cliff was indeed a '59 Not a '58 but I stand corrected if I'm Wrong
